Got caught with A LOT (A LOT) of marijuana. I don't live in the state, practically across the country. Hired him and he worked out a deal with no jail time and just a fine, community service, and some good behavior in the laws' eyes for 18 months. Looking at the laws in Utah, compared to what he got ...me, I would say a slap on the wrist (hence the title). I would recommend him if you did the same thing I stated in the first sentence. Darren was amazing from the get go, I had 3 dv charges filed against me all class a's. Darren kept me informed throughout the case about what was going on, he kept in contact with the prosecutor about it and with his hard work and determination he was able to get me probably the best outcome I could... have gotten without going to trial, I was able to take a plea in obeyance to 1 class c misdemeanor with a minimal fine. I was dealing with my second DUI. I was asleep in a car, not planning to drive. The police did a welfare check as it was November and got me. Darren really did nothing for 3500 dollars. What he negotiated with the prosecutor I could have done on my own. Ended up spending 5 days in jail. Loss of lice...nse for two years. Hiring this guy is a joke. He will not advise you towards anything that will not make him more money. Told me he could not guarantee results but won with less if we went to trial. Only would have been five thousand more. Find someone else
