Todd A Utzinger

Todd is the weakest most useless public defender a person could have. What a horrible misfortune it was to have him represent me. Most of the time he acts like he's afraid to talk to the judge. All of the time you can count on him doing absolutely nothing. However he does a great job of collecting... his very large $250,000 paycheck from the state. It took me a year of continual rescheduled court appearances, because he was never ready. That's going to court every 2 weeks for well over a year. In the end he utterly let me down and failed to do even the most basic job of representing me. He didn't communicate anything. He was never available. Never returned phone calls. Dismal. He's a complete useless human failure. Unfit to practice law. If he had even the tiniest bit of talent he could have had the bunk charges tossed out on the first day. He has his own private corporate law practice on top of public defending. He's only interested in money. And the courts don't care if he lets people down. If he's currently representing you, you may as well give up all hope now.

Mr. Utzinger is my son LEA, In my opinion he could be more persuasive, in defending my son, his first time ever in trouble with the law and on ap and p. Be more supported and understanding know exactly why my son missed up. (instead of throwing him to the big dogs he got chewed up)be convincing to th...e judge and prosecutor. when an attorney is representing a person in the court room I think he/she should really fight for that person instead he didnt it was like he didnt try. the violations are missed interpretation, my son actually is telling the truth he doesnt know my address, my son should of been released, instead he's in jail for 60 days. Davis county, I want a motion for early release. In all that said. yes Utzinger is in my opinion fair!!! Appointed by the courts. I wouldnt recommend him.
