Christian West

Christian R. West is a Utah personal injury attorney and the founder of West Injury Law in Draper. He represents people throughout the Salt Lake Valley who have been injured by someone else's negligence, and he takes every case on contingency, so clients pay nothing up front and no attorney fees unless the firm wins their case. Christian grew up here, built his practice here, and has one goal for every client: a result that protects their future.

Christian has handled personal injury cases at every stage, from the first call with an adjuster to the courtroom, and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients from insurance companies that would have preferred to pay them far less. His practice centers on motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other negligence claims, and he is known for two things insurers respect: knowing exactly what a claim is worth, and negotiating medical liens down so that more of a settlement ends up in the client's pocket instead of a hospital's. He keeps his clients informed at every step.

Christian earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and his bachelor's degree from Westminster College. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and its Litigation Section, and he was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2026, an honor extended to a small percentage of attorneys in the state. (He also scored a perfect mark on the logic games section of the LSAT, which he considers good training for picking apart an insurance company's denial letter.)

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Christian lives here with his wife and their two young daughters. When he's not working a case, he's usually in the mountains. He is a lifelong skier and climber who has summited Cotopaxi, a 19,000-foot volcano in Ecuador, and the Grand Teton, and he is a dedicated golfer and Utah Jazz fan.
