Katherine Monroe Coyle

Katherine (Kate) Monroe Coyle is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) as certified by the National Elder Law Foundation.  Kate grew up in Meridian, Idaho where she attended Meridian High School.  She then went on to the University of Montana and studied Political Science and History, graduating with honors.  She attended Gonzaga University School of Law where she was an articles editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.  While in law school, she interned for the Spokane prosecutor’s office and Wytychak Elder Law in Coeur d’ Alene.  She has been an associate attorney at Wytychak Elder Law since 2008.  Kate volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association and several local senior centers.  She is a member of the Kootenai Health Clinical Ethics Committee, is active in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the local CareNet chapter and the Coeur d' Alene Estate Planning Council.  Kate is a member of the Trust and Estate Professionals of Idaho, and is legal counsel for the Kootenai County Board of Community Guardians. 

Kate and her husband Drew have a black Labrador retriever named Wilbur and a tabby cat named Auggie.  She enjoys skiing, sailing, cooking, reading, and hiking.
