I can't really say enough nice things about this company. They are truly incredible. The IRS levied my wages at the end 2012 for a tax debt of roughly $48,000. It caught me completely off-guard and I immediately started searching for a tax attorney to help me resolve it. I contacted a few local tax a...ttorneys who were not very responsive in getting back to me. Then I called a few companies I found from Google searches and became discouraged by the excessively high fees and hourly rates they quoted. Then I called Precision Tax Relief who gave me a far better quote and a more reassuring/less sales-pitchy feeling. Larry Nagy (the attorney at Precision Tax assigned to my case) had the levy removed from my wages within an hour or so. I honestly expected it would take days or weeks so when it was done the same day I was really shocked. Over the following few weeks they advised me how I could best prepare to deal with this and prepared an IRS Offer in Compromise on my behalf. The offer was filed around the end of February. The IRS sat on their hands for a few weeks so Larry gave them a call and got things moving. They requested additional information and Larry promptly responded and took care of it. Once the IRS had all the info (around the beginning of May) they began processing the offer. At the end of July they responded with a counter-offer which was exactly what Larry had said would happen. The amount of the counter-offer was literally within $20 of what he said it would be. Thanks to Precision Tax Relief I settled this $48,000 disaster for just under $2,700 and I am free of this burden once and for all. In my initial research I discovered that most Offer in Compromises take at least 18-24 months which really concerned me. Precision Tax was able to resolve this from beginning to end in about 9 months. They were always friendly, always helpful, and in that entire 9 months I never once felt neglected. My emails and phone calls were always answered. In today's world that kind of service comes at a premium price but these guys charged me almost half the amount I was given in any other quote. And it works out in their favor because I will be using their services to file my taxes from now on.
