Doug was a terrible communicator. He did not respond to emails, and took his time calling me back. He also acted very slowly on my case, waiting until the last minute to file forms with the court. Not only that, he failed to tell me about something I was doing wrong that may very well cost me primary... custody of my child. When I talked to 2 other attorneys about my case, they both immediately commented on the thing I've been doing wrong, but he never said anything. There were also a lot of mistakes on the forms his office filed for me. I ended up getting a different attorney and now I have to pay twice because the new attorney has to fix all of his mistakes. He also came off as intimidating to me, so I had trouble being completely open with him. An attorney should not seem intimidating to their clients, only to the other party. I regret using Doug as my attorney.
