I divorced 2 times & used Stan both times. He is very knowledgeable & gets things done. My 1st divorce had a custody battle involving my 2 children. In Idaho it was tough getting custody of children for fathers. I was out of work as well. Stan did show me a way to get custody & the fun part was that ...my ex-wife ended up paying for both of our attorneys. We had a joint legal custody & I got 70% physical custody with my kids. I then offered my ex-wife a 50% physical possession if she kept health insurance on my kids until age 18. My 2nd marriage was a big mistake. Stan got me out fast & with all the items I entered the marriage with. I would hire Stan in a heart beat!

Was not interested in what the client said. Repeated numerous times "if you don't like how I am handeling your case find a different attorney." Communictes with other attorneys and makes assumptions with out consulting his own client. Have spoken to many other Boise residents and he has not repres...ented them well either. It should not matter if it a $10,000 or $100,000 dollar case, all cases should be treated equally. That is not the case for this attorney. I did more work on my own and recieved better results then what I was paying for. If you want to WASTE time and money then Stan is your attorney. Otherwise Don't use Stan. Worst money I ever spent.

I hired Mr. Welsh to represent me for my divorce. I felt like he was working for my wife. I supplied him with information of her fraudulent book keeping practices involved in our business and the fact that she had stolen thousands of dollars from a second mortgage account. I also gave him information... of several cash-out life insurance policies she had on me, all of which she never disclosed in her property and debt schedules. None of which he ever brought up. All Mr. Welsh wanted to do was settle, settle, settle. I feel I was poorly represented in my divorce case and was charged a great deal of money for the poor representation I received.
