Called for a consult and after explaining my entire story she proceeded to yell at me and basically told me the situation I was in was my fault and that had I not made poor choices I wouldn’t be there. And that I should just get a second job and also told me that if I couldn’t care for my child then ...I should just give sole rights to my son to his father and just not be a mom when that was not at all the issue that I brought to her. Never have I ever been spoken to in the aggressive tone she had with me asking me very rudely “what do you want me to tell you, I’m telling you the law”. Would absolutely not recommend her to anyone who wants their lawyer to care about them as a person and not be rude in a time in which you may be struggling.

Ms. Kathleen was my lawyer for my divorce back in 2009. She met with me the very same day that I called her office. She was an excellent listener in dealing with my particular situation. In my divorce there was going to be a need for the custody to be written out concerning my son. She wrote eve...rything out in the way i wanted for the custody of my son. Since I am an Active Duty Service Member, I did not have the time to attend court meetings, Ms. Kathleen went in my stead and did everything for me. All I had to do was meet her at the office to sign. She was very willing to make apts at her office that worked with my schedule. She also was able to make changes to the custody papers that I asked for. She was very compassionate through the whole process. She also allowed my ex to sign the papers at her office, since everything was uncontested. I would recommend her to anyone in need of representation for family issues. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.
