If you're a father's fighting for your right, please stay away from Kathy, and Frances from a different firm. They side with the abusers and adulterers every time. The only figure in our case that has followed best interest of the child has been the judge, who is a male. Make it make sense. Kathy should not practice family law in Idaho or any other state.

Don’t go to Kathy Edwards for anything. She tried to get money any way she can and she is awful and unprofessional. She has no morals and is extremely cold. I personally think she abuses her power over other peoples lives and she needs deep psychological help. She keeps trying to get degrees to make ...more money and act superior over other women. Do not go to her for anything you will regret it. Find one good review about her anywhere. You won’t.

DO NOT GET A CHILD CUSTODY EVALUATION HERE. It took much longer than what was discussed and the total evaluation fee was much more than what was quoted. There were three months of no work being done, no communication, no "next steps", and if you contacted the office or Kathy Edwards direct, you would... not get a response. Both attorneys from each side were frustrated with the process, negligence of communication, and lack of attention to detail. The final report was written in two days over a weekend with an apology email that she was busy doing her dissertation for her doctorate's degree. Additionally, the report was written with false statements, completely biased to one side, and a complete lack of reviewing actual evidence. All contacts of witnesses were contacted on one side but not the other, she didn't follow through with all collateral contacts as she had said she would. All the evidence that was submitted was not noted in the report, rather, she wrote about the opposing side's opinions of statements with no evidence. There were videos, pictures, emails, texts messages, of parental alienation and there was complete disregard to all of them. The psychological testing was very clear that one side had complete uncontrollable mental history and acknowledgement while the other had a high "L Score". Kathy wrote in her report that the L score was high due to trying to lie through the test, when in fact, my party has no mental health history or current issues. The child visitations were written well with how they went, however, they were not weighted in the report and merely a statement. When this report was presented to the judge and the other party's counsel, everyone (all three members) were in agreement that it was a very poorly written report and analysis of the situation. Her sole hire was to investigate historical mental history, current mental history, any potential abuse claims and find any evidentiary to support claims, and to seek out the best interest of the children. For the next two years, due to the lack of work ethic and actual due diligence, the minor children will be missing their father in their lives without a normal schedule. He now has to fight for them again in a few years due to the complete negligence of the report, investigation, and findings. For 6 months of waiting for this report, her excuse for not having support for mental health history records was... "when we get any new and updated findings, we will update the court." Meaning, their office and Kathy Edwards didn't follow through with any of their requests for documents or records. DO NOT HIRE THIS OFFICE!!!

Kathy was presented by a mother and a father who both accused the other of things, yet she only believed the father. The kind of things that were being brought up were extremely alarming and instead of further investigating these things, instead of getting proof and seeing the proof that was provide...d, she just automatically believed the man. I cannot tell you how dangerous this is to a child. If this child was being sexually abused by the father, then he will continue to be because Kathy decided to ignore everything that was said about the abuse. This woman needs to be held accountable for her lack of research and for her prejudice against the mother.
