Shaila Buckley Law is a boutique law firm specializing in estate planning. I take the time to understand your needs and wishes, explain your estate planning options in simple terms, and use my legal expertise to help you put together a comprehensive estate plan that works for you.

Estate planning is one of those things that everyone, especially families with children, should do. However, in my experience, “Set up Estate Plan” often gets stuck on our mental “to do” list – it’s something we know is important, but it's hard to get to with so many other demands on our time and attention. I love my job because I get to help people check this critical item off their list.

I deliberately run my practice differently from a typical law firm. I prioritize taking the time to listen to my clients, and understand what they want and need. I also take the time to make sure everyone who has an estate plan from my office understands their plan, how it works, and how to keep it current as you encounter life’s changes.

In addition to my law practice, I also have my real estate license. Real estate is a great compliment to my legal work, as I get to use my negotiating skills and business savvy to help people find or sell the perfect house.

And when I’m not busy at work, you’ll find me happily at home spending time with my two daughters, my husband Matt, and our dog Charlie.
