Jared Brent Martens

My experience with Jared Martens was positive to say the least. He helped me with an issue that a number of attorneys told me was a waste of time or they didn't have time for. I should have interviewed multiple attorneys before selecting Jered. After paying his retainer I never saw him a single time until my first court date. During this time I called and emailed his office on multiple occasions to try and get updated and to discuss my case. Jered and his assistant Shawna... would not answer email and did the bare minimum possible on my case. When he showed up to my pretrial he literally had no idea what I was charged with. He was actually reading the Idaho laws on his phone. The outcome of my trial was worse than what the prosecutor asked for and Jered didn't make a single argument for me.

I would highly recommend Jared to anyone in need of an attorney. After retaining him he promptly came to my aide, gave me great advice, and settled my case quickly so I could get on with my life. Of course, like anyone I would like to have my case dropped, but rather than draw things out and pad his ...pockets he negotiated a very acceptable settlement which included a withheld judgement with an option to have it wiped from my record thus saving time and money and giving me a near guaranteed result (that comes with a lot of peace of mind which means a lot when the prosecutor is "gunning" for you!)
