James Justin May

My wife and I originally worked with Matt Christensen, and he was excellent. Unfortunately, he retired and passed us along to his colleague, Justin May. Our experience with Justin was completely different. We paid Johnson May tens of thousands of dollars, yet Justin did very little to represent us.... After months of discussions, he ultimately told us at the last minute that we had no case. The biggest issue was the lack of follow-through. We repeatedly discussed important facts and details of our case, but Justin often seemed too busy to remember them. Work was frequently done at the very last minute, while we were billed for every second along the way. We were extremely disappointed with the representation we received. The fees were substantial, the service was poor, and the quality of representation fell far short of what I would expect from a firm that presents itself as a large, sophisticated law firm. I would be very cautious about hiring Johnson May, particularly if you are an individual paying legal fees out of pocket.
