Doesn't respond

Signed a contract with Mark back in March to help with a custody case. Since than he had only written up one paper got it wrong I sent it back he made no changes and has yet to respond to me. I've been calling and texting and nothing. Do not hire him unless you want to be ripped off.

Custody

Very professional and too the point. Lays everything out clearly and is well educated on the different things that can happen in a custody case. He was able to answer all of my questions and give me an idea of how things would go. The case is ongoing but I have no doubt Mark will continue to exceed m...y expectations!!

Very professional

Mark handled my custody and visitation modification case which was actually a clean up job of a very botched and not well outlined divorce through a different law firm. It took over a year to get it all straightened out and through that year Mark kept me informed on any new developments and explained... the process to me so that I was prepared. He won my case and did it with pure professionalism, I was very impressed and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my case. I highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for legal counsel on family court cases, he won't let you down.

Hard to work with and get a hold of

He is a one man show. He is hardly available to answer questions. He did a terrible job on my divorce proceeding. He allowed the opposing counsel to file the temp order with bunch of errors, by not filing an objection in a timely manner. In addition he did a terrible job arguing 50/50 legal custody d...uring the temp hearing. My record is clean no drug, physical abuse, or any other cause that would have give the judge to give my ex 100% legal custody. He never responded to my emails and never answered his phone. That should have been a good indication that he is not a good lawyer. He counseled me upto the temp orders and when I finally fired him he sent me a bill for $14k. He was unable to get a hearing on the custody, again because he missed the deadline of filing an objection. Essentially if you want to pay an attorney 56 hours to go to one hearing and get you crappy results, he is the man for the job.

Best attorney out there!

Hired mark to handle high conflict domestic family law case. He not only got me primary custody but also sole legal custody and the right to move out of state! I would trust my life with Mark when it comes to legal battles! If anyone complains on here... simple remedy pay your attorney what you ow...e him and be forthright with him! Mark is super reasonable and took a substantial time to explain thing to me again and again! Best lawyer in IDAHO.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
