Matthew Laurence Jessup

Matt Jessup won a child custody case for us that others called hopeless, or in which we might expect only a very small victory. We are so very grateful for his diligence and hard work, and genuine compassion. He left no stone unturned, no avenue unexplored. Matt is one smart, hardworking, energ...etic lawyer with a keen interest in his clients and their cases, and one really, really nice guy. He’s the kind of person who listens well and pays attention to what you say to him, so that the next time you meet and mention something you told him from the previous conversation he doesn’t say, “What?” He listens and remembers; this indicates that he has a good mind and that he is truly interested in your problems and in solving them. He puts a lot of time into gathering information for a case, in developing a strategy, and in planning the case. He is easy to work with and encourages client involvement in the case. I say again – he is such a nice guy, after you have known him, you will think twice about ever again telling or laughing a “lawyer joke”.
