Michael has extensive experience in advising clients on complex estate and gift tax issues, drafting wills and trusts, administering estates and trusts, using business entities to further estate planning objectives, counseling clients on Medicaid related issues, conducting judicial foreclosures, and advising clients on trademark issues. As a member of Beard St. Clair Gaffney's estate planning practice group, Michael makes it a priority to stay abreast of changes and developments in the law impacting estates and fiduciaries. He regularly presents educational seminars to CPAs and other professionals on current trends and changes in the law in the area of estate planning. Michael has presented seminars on wills, trusts, and transfer taxes for the National Business Institute.

Michael also serves clients seeking registration of trademarks and service marks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He regularly lectures to students at Brigham Young University-Idaho on a variety of legal topics, including intellectual property issues.
