John Elbert Cutler

Unfortunately Idah and I have not gotten along since I moved here 10 years ago. I have never had any issue prior to moving here. I was sited for driving while intoxicated and John Cutler has been the best advocate for my defense I have ever experienced. This man was sincere and considerate. He has an... extremely professional staff that is on top of everything needed including reminding me of upcoming appointments and court dates. He has a real office unlike most of the shiesters around here that run their virtual office and from their Cell Phone and are never available or return calls. If you are serious about your defense I refer you to John without any hesitation. I usually don't write reviews but Mr. John Cutler is very deserving of praise. Thanks John!

Mr. Cutler is a compassionate and patient person, and a knowledgeable, thorough and dedicated attorney. When you find yourself going through the criminal court process, especially for the first time, it can be seriously overwhelming, and there are seemingly pitfalls everywhere (forgetting or not kn...owing about the ALS hearing can have big consequences, for example). On top of that, the amount of shame or embarrassment one might feel to find one’s self in such a position can be intense. Mr. Cutler, as well as his staff, treated me with nothing but dignity and respect, and essentially held my hand through the entire court process. It was huge for me to not feel so alone, caught in a system that, until you are in it, many of us do not understand or have intimate knowledge of. This is a man who has spent the hours and hours to not only completely understand but also maintain official certification in police DUI procedure. He will turn over EVERY rock and exhaust any and all leads in establishing if it was or was not handled appropriately and by-the-book (even down to requesting calibration logs for police breathalyzers, and ensuring the right amount of time had passed between breath tests). While I have continued to make the life choices to not find myself in such a position ever again, I can say with absolute certainty that I would hire Mr. Cutler again in less than a heartbeat. Shout out to Shauny for also being a rockstar! Shauny is so kind and nonjudgmental. She goes above and beyond in ensuring you, as the client, are always well in-the-loop. Getting to chat with her at the office was a silver lining in an otherwise bleak situation. I cannot begin to thank you both enough for the work that you do.

John Cutler did an outstanding job representing me in a recent DUI case in ID. John has a very thorough and in-depth knowledge of the law, procedures, processes and provided me with specific counsel and advice throughout the entire process.
