Dan Taylor at Sawtooth Law is very dishonest!! Made promises on how hard they would work for us with a big team to get things done, but wanted all the $65,000 upfront! Told us it should be a very easy case, because they specialize in what we were going through. One of their guys from their off...ice even pretended to be an attorney, that we found out later was only a legal aid. Dan and his team did not return phone calls, didn't keep us informed and one time Dan didn't show up on time for court and he had nothing to say. He also almost lost our property. He never filed anything, so now we have no recourse. When we asked for our billable hrs. they made up a ridiculous report, but did say we had $4000 coming back and of course we never saw it and its been over a year now. Plus when we called Dan's phone number it had been disconnected and emails undeliverable. Looks like he took the money from so many besides us and ran. He needs to be stopped, lose his license and disbarred so he can never practice again and keep ripping off people. He is the worst attorney ever!!! Makes me sick what he is getting away with. Sawtooth Defense Lawyers should be avoided by private investigators. We were initially hired by Dan Taylor to handle a murder case, and our services were later extended to other related cases involving the same defendant. Despite Dan's assurances that the county would cover the fees, he failed to sta...y updated with ADA county and neglected to provide the necessary funds and paperwork for payment. As a result, we are still owed $7220.00 for all the work we conducted, putting our firm in a difficult financial situation. The situation escalated to the point where the client partially paid some of the fees but couldn't cover the entire outstanding amount. Unfortunately, Dan Taylor, who also happens to represent Sawtooth Defense Lawyers, has not shown any response or made any attempt to settle the remaining balance. This lack of responsibility and accountability raises serious concerns for anyone considering doing business with Sawtooth Defense Lawyers, and caution should be exercised when dealing with this agency. Our dedicated team invested over a year of intense effort into this case. We worked tirelessly, putting in long hours and exerting our utmost expertise to gather the necessary evidence and pursue justice. The amount of time and resources we committed to this case is a testament to our commitment to providing thorough and diligent investigative services. However, despite our unwavering dedication, we are still left with a substantial outstanding balance that remains unpaid. This unfortunate situation highlights the importance of clear communication, financial responsibility, and honoring contractual agreements in professional relationships.

A lot of lack of communication he left me in the dark and a lot of things I asked for paperwork that he sent to me so I know what was filed I never got that and when I asked him about payments he told me to wait a few weeks and I did and then I contacted him again via email and he never responded and... he went through from my case just recently he is a shitty attorney And I do not recommend him at all

this attorney is a joke, he took my money, then refused to answer the phone. Refused to answer any questions if u were lucky to finally get a minute of his time. Left me in the dark wondering what was going on. No game plan, no preparation, no nothing. This guy is a flat 2 thumbs down.
