I am not a Wyoming resident, but was there for business when I was arrested for a DUI and open container. Upon my release from jail, and returning to my home state, I immediately started researching the BEST OF THE BEST DUI lawyers in Wyoming. I specifically came to this site, and was impressed and e...ncouraged by all of the consistently positive reviews for Cole. I called him on a Saturday morning, and though he was out on vacation, he still took the time to speak with me, discover more of my arrest/charges, and answered ALL of my preliminary questions. We spoke again the following Monday- this time, more in-depth, and Cole immediately got the ball rolling. Throughout the process, he was in constant contact with me. If I had a question, he always answered the phone, or returned my voicemail/email within 1-2 hours. He was incredibly professional, candid and informed of my case. Even when there was a hold up/lapse/no movement on the case from the officer's evidence/or a DA snag, he still took the time to reach out to me and say, essentially, "no new developments". This was much appreciated in curbing my anxiety. Cole is a realist, and covered both "best" and "worst" case scenarios, and everything in between. I am blown away by his intellect, responsiveness, and ability to thoroughly explain all processes involved. He spent HOURS reviewing and re-reviewing my jail booking/intake videos, and saw some things that did not abide by jail personnel protocol. At his advisement, we waited patiently on critical documents needed to come forth to Cole for a conviction, and after a (abnormally long) and painstaking 3 months, those documents never were presented. He went forth to the DA with this lack of information, as well as protocol concerns from the booking video, and my DUI was amended to a "Careless Driving" offense, and the open container charge was dropped entirely. This was THE BEST possible outcome for me, and I attribute it entirely to Cole's passion and due-diligence as a lawyer. Cole himself is incredibly passionate in his line of work, and it SHOWS! Again, he is incredibly intelligent, professional, informed, gregarious, determined, responsive and high-energy. ALL of the things I was looking for in a lawyer, and more. I am 100% pleased with my services from Cole, and would recommend him a million times over to anyone seeking legal counsel in the jurisdictions in which he serves. I am incredibly grateful that I made the initial call with Cole, and after our brief first call, I didn't even bother to look at any other attorneys. I knew he was the best of the best! Grateful for him for eternity!

I contacted many lawyers before Mr. Sherard but he definitely took me in a very strategic and logical direction that no other attorney told me about. I was told by other law firms/attorneys that I could do up to a year of jail for a simple possession of marijuana charge, which is possible but not li...kely. I believe the other lawyers used that as a scare tactic so I would buy their extremely expensive service and a field (possession/drug) they aren't even too familiar in. Mr. Sherard told me the possible outcomes, along with what to do to minimize them and what not to do. Although I see why he would not represent both me and my girlfriend, I am a little bothered by it. Also, he responds in a very timely manner and is very attentive.

Mr. Sherard is my first experience with any lawyer. I think I was extremely lucky to cross paths with him, he took away all the anxiety and stress of the unknown and tackled my case head on. He had an extensive knowledge base of the law and a respected relationship with key players.
