Kristen is a refreshingly straight forward individual that manages to temper difficult conversations with a wonderful sense of humor. She has a gift of being able to get to the delicate heart ...of a matter while maintaining composure and pointing out, sometimes difficult, truths. In a heart heavy and delicate situation, Kristen was communicative and took the time to explain the options and the consequences of those options. We never felt rushed, hurried, or ignorant in our dealings and discussion with her. Kristen was very aware and upfront with fees and overall costs. Kristen approached situations in a non-emotional manner, looking at the totality of the circumstances. When I came to Kristen for help with custodial changes I had no idea what I was getting into. My ex had what I thought was a very aggressive attorney who did everything from dig into my background, finances and friends to my ex sending police to my house for "well baby checks" to make sure I was stil...l there. Knowing how clueless I was, I tried to let Kristen do her job but I did have to finally ask why she wasn't researching him like he was to me. That was an easy answer... it wasn't relevant to the case. She really wasn't trying to take my money, she really cared about her job and my kids' future! I found an attorney that was willing to explain things to me in English, would answer every call/email and never talked down to me for not knowing the laws.
