Mark S Rubinstein

I hired Mark to represent me in a DWAI case. He was so certain he could take on this case and be prepared for all hearings and get me a reasonable plea deal. Mark was never on time for any of my hearings, and in 1 case had to phone in to speak to the judge. Mark had me sign a plea deal that he made w...ith the assistant DA, which I did sign, and then at my sentencing, had a different DA and judge and that plea deal was not honored. At my sentencing I was given mandatory jail time of 60 days. The judge dropped it to 30 for good behavior. Mark told me I would spend max 15-18 days in jail. That was a complete lie too! I completed the full 30 days which I was told from the beginning wouldn't be part of my sentencing. Mr. Rubinstein was not prepared for my sentencing. I had emailed him a Dr. letter to submit to the court prior to my sentencing. Mark hadn't even read the letter until he was standing before the judge. Do not waste your money on him. He is untrustworthy and over promises and under delivers.
