I have been practicing law for over twenty (20) years.  I have a strong background in both criminal defense and personal injury.  With regard to my criminal practice, I have handled several hundred cases including felony drug cases, assault & battery, embezzelment and theft cases, Domestic Violence, DUI/DUID/DWI cases and any number of traffic matters.  

 

I spent several years working within the Denver Drug Court which exposed me to great variety of drug cases, including sales, possession, search and seizure matters, etc.

 

I further spent a number of years working for an insurance defense law firm which represented multiple national insurance companies in defending personal injury matters including auto accident claims, bicycle and pedestrian claims as well as any number of other peraonal injury matters.  This experience has provided me a unique perspective on how insurance companies handle personal injury matters.

Received better results than I could have ever imagined
I received a traffic violation, and well it was severe enough I would have had a trial if I didn't hire Mark Rubinstein. He offered to do it for hundreds less than other attorneys. Mark Rubinstein is an awesome lawyer!
I highly recommend hiring Mark Rubinstein if you need legal representation. He is: a class act, knowledgeable, personable, and delivered a better result than I hoped for. I have never been in legal trouble before and trying to find a lawyer on short notice (less than 1 week) was not easy and full of anxiety. Being new to the area I didn’t have anyone I could turn to for suggestions so I searched online in Google and other websites that listed the lawyers in western Colorado. I made a list of 5 potential lawyers that represented the nature of my charge and called them leaving voicemails or messages with someone for a call back. I received 3 call backs and learned that I was not able to afford it and would be short by 1 to 3 grand. The first call back I received was from what seemed to be a popular lawyer in the area on google who wanted all the money in one payment, talked down to me, and wouldn’t be able to give me a consultation until the day of my first court date. Mark was the third lawyer I called and he returned my call within an hour, gave me a free consultation over the phone, and worked with me on payment by giving me a small discount and accepting multiple forms of payment. Mark explained everything clearly and reassured me which really made me feel better. He stated his goal for my case was to have the charge removed from my permanent record and by the end he delivered exactly that and more. His excellent communication, experience, and knowledge of the law are the reasons for our success. I am forever grateful to Mr. Rubinstein for his professionalism and support, he treated me with respect and is an outstanding lawyer.

Outstanding Lawyer with Class!
Last summer I found myself in a dire situation. I had made the mistake of driving whilst intoxicated, the result was that of rear ending a van, worst mistake I ever made by far. I immediately researched lawyers online, and I found Mr Mark Rubinstein. I liked what I had read about him, and decided to call his office. He returned my call promptly, and efficiently, the tone of his voice immediately put me at ease, as I thought my life as I knew it, was over. Mark is a true gentleman whom exudes class, and manners. He was clear, concise and most of all, non judgemental. He helped me navigate my way through the most terrible situation of my life. The sentence was better than expected, it was something I could live with, avoiding jail time was sheer relief. Love a happy ending.
I feel very fortunate that I found Mark online after getting into a spot of bother. Mark understood my situation and got me into a program with eagle county that I didn't even know existed. Unbelievable Outcome
Mark went above and beyond any expectations I had while dealing with my DUI case. He was able to get the charges reduced to a deferred DWAI despite the facts of the case being heavily against me. This kept me from serving any more jail time and I now have an opportunity to get the charges fully sealed from my record after complying with my deferred judgement sentencing. I could not be happier with my experience working with Mark!

Great work, much better result than expected.
Mr. Rubinstein came recommended by a former court office worker in Grand Junction. I did an initial phone consultation where he gave me an honest and up front evaluation with realistic goals. Once we actually went to court, he got results that were on the good side of the spectrum. I firmly believe I wouldn't have had a chance for this good of a result without hiring Mr. Rubinstein. Amazing, smart, and thorough.
Mr. Rubenstein was an amazing lawyer. I hired him the day after my DUI and he helped me navigate the process that I needed to do and helped me understand my situation. He was instrumental is getting me a very pleasant plea offer with the DA and prosecutor to lower my DUI down to a DWAI. (with the situation at hand, its the best thing that could've happened(. I Highly would recommend Mark, after my situation I contacted several attorney’s and Mark was the only one to return my call he did that within hours of my call. He was in contestant communication with me, and keep me posted on my situation at all times. This man is incredible
a little over a year ago I was extradited to the state of Colorado to face charges that i ran from 15 years ago. I was looking at 20 plus years. With Mark in my corner i felt very confident. He said we will fight for probation. We did and when it was all said and done i ended up with 2 years probation and a chance to continue living my life. me and my family will always thank mark for what he did for me.
