Amy focuses primarily on family law, probate, and estate planning where she provides rigorous and supportive counsel at the most critical moments in the life of a family.
Education and Experience
Amy graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University in 2004 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received the honors of psychology designation for her work as a board member of the Psi Chi National Honors Society. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 2007. Amy was also Review Editor of the Transportation Law Journal. Amy began her legal career in March, 2008 by serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Angela R. Arkin. Amy went on to join a Denver family law firm in September 2008 were she has built a practice focusing primarily on family law and probate. Amy is now a partner at RKV Law.
Amy has lectured frequently in the areas of family law, unbundled legal services, and mediation. Amy has served as a Co-Adjunct Professor, with the Honorable Judge Angela Arkin, at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law for the past two years.
Interests
Amy is an active member of the Edwards Rotary Club. She shares her love for running by serving as a Girls on the Run coach for middle school girls to promote self-esteem and athletics.
