Experienced and Knowledgeable

I’m not sure what kind of a divorce I went thru, but I was thankful to have Ms. Ray holding the reins the entire time. She was very attentive to what was going on and it showed in the way she approached the case. Things ended up largely getting settled the way I hoped they would and I I would highly ...recommend her.

A Shark when you need one!

Brittany is worth every penny! She truly listens, studies the details, and is honest always. I trust Brittany explicitly. She is a diligent data-collector prior to hearings and able to pivot every time the opposing attorney throws in a curveball. Her knowledge gives me peace in moments of immense str...ess... I can’t say enough good things about her! If you need help during a custody/child support case, she is the one you want!

Great lawyer

Brittany is an amazing lawyer she is very up to date on things and knows how to handle situations that arise. She had took on my case of a contempt, child support modification and parenting plan. I was worried and scared of what the outcome that could happen she kept reassuring me that things would w...ork out. She worked hard on my case and even worked late in the evening. She responsed in a timely manger to my emails or my phone calls. She explained things to me if I didn't understand or if it didn't make sense to me which made me feel more comfortable and not a burden. She is very respectful and understood where I was coming from, even when I was frustrated. With her knowledge and experience I felt comfortable with the outcome of my case. I would highly recommend her she is easy to talk to and communicate with.

Please beware!

Very nice as a person but horrible lawyer in a complicated divorce. When I first went in she said we would have phycological evaluations done etc and we would do this and that and that she would work hard for me. She said she would get me temporary orders on child support etc. (She ended up not doi...ng any of it.) Started out great answering calls etc. But as case went on longer never got back to you. Also she never once had me come into office to prepare for trial, not one time!! The information I gave her on my initial meeting is all she took she didn’t dig deeper nor ask questions! I called her several times for guidance and she was very neutral and didn’t offer suggestions nor lead me to help. I had text messages, emails, and tons of records which we could of used in the process and yet she asked me for none and I called her numerous times during 7 month period to trial asking her what I could gather or help her with in the trial because I told her I really needed this to end with a positive result for me and my children and their safety and she never would get back to me, but sure shooting she charged me to read those request and then ignore me. She did very basic tasks of everything I called her one time and ask her about some information I had sent and she never even new she received it, so she doesn’t even look over you information as it comes in to build case. We went to first mediation and she told me I basically needed to come up with an acceptable parenting plan or the judge would do 50/50 and as the process went back and forth she made me believe if it went to judge it would defiantly go fifty. Fifty and so I I agreed to thingsI didn’t want to because of what she said, and that as I found out was a huge mistake ( now a more experience and better attorney has taught me what huge mistakes those were and what should have happened. This is the first an only time I have been divorced or dealt with the courts but I have now learn the difference between a good attorney and a bad one and the court. Itself is basically based on the opinion of a judge that bases it off law but it basically comes down to his opinion so you better have all information possible out there and you only get one shot, there are no redos so please make sure your attorney is doing everything possible.) So needless to say I agreed to parenting plan that I didn’t want then we had mediation on financial side and it didn’t end well so we had to go to court. So court was 6 months a way she made sure to charge me for reading all the emails and not responding, now remember lawyers charge for every second and do it in increment so if you take 5 minutes of their time but they charge in 15 minute increments then you get charge 50 bucks instead of 15 and believe me this money goes out fast. This lawyer prefers emails to so think about this you are paying for her typing and editing and reading time of emails, get a lawyer who will call you instead of going back in forth in emails. So during this six months case the only thing she asked me to get was a forensic accountant (which are not cheap either) because my ex was making false companies moving money etc. She said we defiantly had to have that for case, so as the case approaches (still never asking for or getting information or proof on anything) she informs me she is making up witness list and about a week prior to this I had met with accountant and she had finished up initial information and said she wanted to request more information) well then the following Monday Mrs. ray inform me she has to have a report from accountant by that day or it’s to late to use her as a witness. Needless to say report can’t get written up fast enough and I can use this accountant that my whole rest of my life will be based on as a witness. She never told me of dead line and she just let them run out with excuses. Trial ended in exes fav/tons of money down drain, fighting for kids with new lawyer. disappointed greatly!
