Biography
J.R. was born and raised in Grand Junction. He graduated from Fruita Monument High School and then attended the University of Denver. He graduated with two degrees – one in Public Policy and one in Finance. While in college, J.R. worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Denver to make sure he wanted to invest in a legal education. After deciding that law was a good fit, J.R. then went to the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law.
After graduating law school, J.R. returned to his roots in the Grand Valley. Over the last 10 years, J.R. has spent a lot of time in the courtroom. He spent 15 months as a prosecutor at the Mesa County District Attorney’s office and then started his private practice in 2011. In the last 10 years, J.R. has gone to trial over 30 times.

Bad lawyer for me too
Also took my money and then removed himself from my case, and did not return my money. Disappointed. Got no help from this guy. Avoid him. (Later learned that McGeorge is a known as a bad law school for people who can't get in to a real one.)

Took my money, then did nothing.
Mr. Davis took my retainer of $4000, then after I was arrested and put in jail on a pretrial violation, he had himself removed as my lawyer. He cited his reason being I couldn't pay as I was incarcerated, knowing I could pay. He took my money and when I asked about a refund blew me off. He received $...
