In mid 2015 I hired Mr. Tameler to help with some legal issues I was having. When I initially met with Mr. Tameler he told me that he would help me with my case and gave me a flat fee of $2000.00. I had met with other attorneys that had told me I would have to pay a retainer of $3500.00 before they w...ould even see me, so Mr. Tamelers $2000.00 was welcomed. My case just finished and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Mr. Tameler got all my charges dismissed. I never had any issues contacting him, or asking his advice about court. Thank you very much!! I would tell anyone to go to him. He is the best!

Came to Karl after being cheated out of $2.5k by another criminal defense lawyer from colorado springs. Karl requested a flat fee payment and explained that the he could help resolve the matter relating to cracking the plastic on someones taillight in a carls jr parking lot - he said that the offer w...as unfair and that he could get a better one that didn't involve 24 hours community service - On the day of the trail he arrived 3 minutes prior leaving no time to review the case -he was unfamiliar with the case(all case information had been forwarded/provided) and apparently had not contacted the DA yet to negotiate any offer. He relied on my old copy of the original offer i brought to court and had me sign that and admit to guilt even though in his office he said it shouldn't go this way.Bottom line He will tell you what you want to here for money. I will never trust this man again - could not keep his word.

During our 5 month relationship with Mr. Tameler and nearly $4,000.00 to him and his investigator, Cindy of Pueblo we were not contacted one time by Mr. Tameler, his office or his investigator. Our many inquiries as to his progress went unanswered and his office lied to us every time we called. His... secretary would just say the same thing every time, that he had nothing to report. We made attempts to go to his office during business hours and the door was always locked. Our first court date was two months after our initial meeting and he never attempted to contacted us or meet with us to prepare us for that day in court. He recommended another two month continuance saying that the D.A. was not prepared. We later found out that this was just another lie and Mr. Tameler was the one that was not prepared. A week before the second court date (5 months after we hired him) we insisted on a meeting to find out what he and his investigator had regarding our case and he refused to speak with us, which prompted us to find new attorney. He refused to refund any monies and claimed we owed him an addition $900.00 in duplicate and fabricated charges. He angered our Judge with his delays which did not end well for us and refused to release our file to our new attorney on the basis there was a lien against it. He and his office vindictively delayed and interfered with the outcome of our case by refusing to release our file with any findings we had paid him for. We ended up having to pay our new attorney again to obtain all the necessary documentation from the D.A. and courts. He also continuing to work on our case with the D.A. even after we terminated him, which we find unethical. Because of Mr. Tameler, his gross negligence and vindictiveness, valuable time was wasted and the outcome of our case did not end well for us. We have requested that Mr. Tameler and his investigator provide us with documentation to prove their charges but they are refusing to sign for certified mail and if sent by email they are just refusing to reply. We have been forced to take our case to the Colorado Supreme Court. IF YOU WANT DILIGENT REPRESENTATION STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY, HIS STAFF AND HIS INVESTIGATOR. ALL HE DID FOR US WAS TAKE OUR MONEY AND INSURE A NEGATIVE OUTCOME OF OUR CASE!!!
