Danita Sue Alderton

Ms. Alderton was the CLR assigned to my granddaughter's case. She was biased towards the father and did not perform her due-diligence. Concern was expressed about the father and it was not even looked into. She even expressed to our attorney that she was "fed up" with the case. She was unprofessi...onal in her recommendations, behavior, performance and was not truly looking out for the child's best interest. I would recommend she is avoided at ALL COSTS.

I wasn't completely sure how to interpret Danita during the divorce process and I didn't totally agree with the outcome she presented to the judge, but as I look back (it's been about 3 years) I realize I didn't present her with as much information as I should have. She did a great job of trying to... defuse the tension between me and my ex. That tension is so hard on kids. I have also seen that it is true that no matter how much of a loser or monster the other parent happens to be, their kids still love them. I appreciate her to this day for having that foresight. My ex is still unreliable and that does hurt the kids, but that is not Danita's fault. The anger you feel during a custody battle does soften over time.
