Aggressively Dedecated Defense Attorney.

I want am one of the foreign national clients Ms. Mitchell profiles in her list of cases. I remember one of our first court hearings, I watched her in awe as she aggressively cross-examined my company commander on his punishment of me before trial. It was in that moment she gained my trust, and I g...ained peace of mind that I had someone who would fight for me. She caught the agent and the informant in several lies, and she continued working on my case after the trial to get evidence of those lies, and to get me a new trial. She kept in touch with me while I was in jail, and while I was fighting deportation. Her work kept my case in the military justice system, so that I could not be deported. I am now a US citizen thanks in large part to her defense of me. I would not be where I am today without her.

Incredibly knowledgeable!

Tami has assisted me with an ongoing military defense matter for three years. Throughout this time she has been incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough. Her writing ability is top notch, as well as her understanding of the various aspects of military law. She has invested great time an...d energy in assisting me with what has been a very personally painful and stressful legal issue - I am so happy to have her representing me!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
