I am a former prosecutor who has handled thousands of cases. I have appeared in front of numerous judges and understand the system from both sides of the aisle. You are going to want someone you trust in this process so you can navigate the best possible outcome for your case. Let me help you find that route that allows you to continue on with life.
When I was ten, my family of seven set out from Colorado to see various places along the east coast. There was no GPS back then and my dad entrusted me with the map. During that trip I would study the map at nearly every mile marker and route out a plan. I learned the map key for the type of roads and their speed limits, typical rush hour times, found mileages, gas stations and more. As the miles rolled on my dad would lean over and ask about options as an accident was seen, or a pit stop was needed. I was quickly able to give him options and he decided which way to go. As we concluded the trip he thanked me for getting us to our destination.
Upon becoming a defense attorney, friends, family or other acquaintances seemed to come out of nowhere to ask me about my profession. They tersely asked, "How is it that you can defend someone who is guilty?" My responses have varied only slightly over the years, but they always revolve around one main issue- NAVIGATION. I was a deputy district attorney for many years and was able to handle thousands of criminal cases, which varied widely and the people who were charged came from all walks of life. But, as I met with these people they always had questions about the judicial process. I found that it did not matter whether you were pulled over for a speeding ticket or charged with first degree murder, every person did not know exactly what was going to happen next or what they should do. They needed something similar to what my dad needed, a navigator. Whether that is preserving innocence or providing mitigation due to an uncharacteristic mistake, I am here to help guide you through the process and make sure you are not taken advantage of.

I fired him and he went to court and referred me to incompetency, If you want a good lawyer, he is far from it along with James Newby Law Firm that he works for ; garbage , if I could give no stars I would.

Having previously been free of any criminal record my entire life, I had recently gotten into some legal trouble, as a result of a verbal dispute with my then live in, separated wife. The cops were eventually called by an unknown party and long story short, I was subsequently arrested for a level 3 m...
"Joshua has an exception ability to put others at ease. He is very sharp and I do not hesitate to refer difficult matters to him. I fully recommend Joshua Lindley for any DUI or other criminal matter."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked with Mr. Lindley at the District Attorney's office. He was always extremely professional and could work effectively under stressful conditions. Mr. Lindley is a smart, candid, and aggressive attorney."
"I have worked with Joshua for several years, both at the DA's office and as opposing counsel. Joshua has always been professional in how he deals with people, and has worked at making himself an expert in the areas of law that he has practiced. Joshua is an excellent attorney, whose caliber can be measured right away, and I wholeheartedly endorse him."
"Mr. Lindley is always well prepared, knows the law as well as any attorney I have met and has always been fair, reasonable and level headed (while working with the DA's Office). We worked against each other on extremely serious cases and Mr. Lindley was always willing to meet and discuss any legal issues. I believe Mr. Lindley brings those qualities (and many others) to the table as a defense attorney and will work for his client's best interests."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked with Mr. Lindley during his career as a prosecutor. I had always found Mr. Lindley extremely knowledgeable with the criminal statutes, rules of evidence, and court procedure. Mr. Lindley always knew the facts of his case. I am glad Mr. Lindley has joined our firm and we consider him an asset for our clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. He had a great reputation at the DA's office, and our firm recently hired him."
"Josh and I have been professional adversaries on many criminal cases and I always found him to extremely prepared and capable in the courtroom. He was a tough DA but a very fair one. I know that his skill set as an exceptional prosecutor will serve him well in his civilian practice."
"I endorse this lawyer without hesitation. While working in the DA's office, the largest and busiest in the State of Colorado, Josh was a breath of fresh air. Deputy DAs are notoriously over-worked and under-paid. Some (many? most?) become burned out, irritable, and almost impossible to deal with. Not Josh. Never. Fair, reasonable, honest, dependable, level headed. Josh and I had a trial together (not a fun set of facts for anyone). Ended in a hung jury and we were back at square one. Throughout the ordeal, Josh remained professional and reasonable. Again, Josh has what it takes. I endorse him without hesitation."
