Gordon J. Heuser

Gordon has been practicing for decades. He is a leader in the community and hands down one of the best attorneys in the Springs if not the State. He is a resource for other attorneys, generous with his time, kind, hard working, and gets incredible results for his clients. I also very much respect his... work with teen court and his willingness to mentor kids. Just a great man and excellent attorney. A true professional.

I would not recommend him if you have a life altering case. Private information that had nothing to with my work comp case was almost released to the opposing lawyers. There was then an attempt to cover this up by a legal assistant. I was also advised I would be eligible for unemployment. This infor...mation came from Gordon himself. This was not correct due to the nature of the resolve. It would have taken a simple correction in wording to avoid this. I now cannot claim benefits I am entitled to, while looking for new employment. This entire experience over the last two years has been exhausting. Many things were done incorrectly or fell through the cracks. I was given a lot of bad legal advice. I was never advised that I should have filed for disability more than a year and a half ago. I had no idea and am unable to collect at this point. That really would have helped our financial situation through all of this. It would have made all the difference. If you want peace of mind or have a serious and complex case, go to another law firm. If it's just a small uncomplicated case and doesn't affect every aspect of your life, they can probably handle it. Over the course of two years I'd say they did about 70% of what should have been done correctly. In the end I was made somewhat whole. It wasn't 100% botched, but it was a nightmare dealing with them. The excuses and not taking fault for their many mistakes was entirely frustrating. Staff turnover is really high. I never know who I should talk to about my case. Bills from medical care get dropped off to them and they don't follow through. Many things have hit collections. I find myself re-explaining myself to new people constantly. My case has been going on for over a year and I have been nervous that things aren't being done properly the entire time. Multiple times they have sent me paperwork to sign and said "the deadline for this is tommorrow". So it seems like a lot of things get done at the last minute. Recently I got a call and the lady had confused me with another client. It just makes me nervous. There is no peace of mind.
