The only positive thing I can say is that it was a difficult estate from the beginning. However, we signed the final papers in May and as of December 7, still don't have the estate finished- and I can honestly say that only maybe 3 weeks of hold up was on our part. I worked in the court system for... almost 5 years and I know that most lawyers have standard forms, but this doesn't seem to be the case here. I was unable to repeatedly get paperwork in a timely fashion. We are currently waiting on tax forms to be completed and talked to the lawyer today and was told that it would take his office several days to finish the forms on their end once they received the official tax forms from our accountant. Howevever, our tax accountant told me that she had sent over all of the pertinent information that he would need to finish the forms.... so we are waiting again. I would NOT recommend him to anyone and he was recommended very highly.
