I believe in treating my clients with respect, and in the way I would want to be treated if I were the client. I have over 31 years of experience in numerous and varied types of criminal defense cases, from speeding tickets and DUIs, to serious felony matters, in all Colorado State and municipal courts, including clients with multiple pending cases.
I also represent domestic violence, drug possession, sex offenses, violent crimes, mental health/competency issues, armed self-defense, security guard, and CCW related gun cases. I always advocate strongly to protect my clients' Second Amendment rights.
I've been "around the block," and travel to most courts all over the state (27 counties, so far).
I'm also "old-school," in that I believe in professionalism, courtesy and respect to my clients, judges and prosecutors. I also believe in "real" conversations by phone or in-person, rather than email or text legal discussions. I believe clients should always meet with the attorney, and have time to review a written fee agreement, before making a hiring decision.
Additionally, I believe that ratings for lawyers can be very misleading. Clients that don't get their way with the judge or jury, despite an excellent attorney's best preparation and advocacy on their behalf, will complain, give a 1-star review, and then blame the lawyer. Those clients who are completely satisfied with the results of their case, and how they were treated by the attorney don't post 5-star reviews nearly as often as the complainers will post their misplaced, vengeful, 1-star reviews.
Rather than just go by ratings, I suggest you give me a call and make your own decisions about my integrity, experience, thoroughness, and whether you think I care about you as a client. I strive to offer fair and reasonable rates on a case-by-case basis. Phone calls are returned promptly, and I will actually listen to what you are saying, and be helpful with some answers to your questions. Call to schedule a consultation at no cost to you. Thank you! -- Michael D. Wulfsohn

Great attorney, genuine guy.
I was very pleased with the service I recieved. To start with, his prices are very reasonable, especially for someone with as much knowledge and overall experience. There was not a single question I had that he couldn't answer, and whenever I got confused, he took the time necessary to make sure I un...
Thanks for the very kind words, Lee! I'm glad you were satisfied with my representation and results. I'm also glad I have been, and am still able to talk with you about things not related to your case. I definitely care about you and your circumstances, and I consider that to be an essential element of my representation of any client. You were, and continue to be a wonderful client, and it was my pleasure to be of assistance to you.

Thanks, Sue, for your very kind and complimentary thoughts. It was always a pleasure to assist you in your legal matter. Although it was kind of a scary, and lengthy process in your case, it all worked out quite well, and especially at the end of your legal situation! You did a great job of helping yourself get a favorable outcome, and I truly value you as a client and a friend. Thanks, again!

Above and Beyond
The reason I hired Mike is because after speaking with so many other attorneys what made him different was that he took the time to understand my case and me as well as break it down for me to where I could understand my options clearly. His pricing is fair and I felt so much relief to go into a cour...
Thanks for the nice comments, Osman! You were in a tough situation, and I'm honored to have assisted you in your case, and you have become a close, caring, and trusted friend.
