I believe in treating my clients with respect, and in the way I would want to be treated if I were the client. I have over 31 years of experience in numerous and varied types of criminal defense cases, from speeding tickets and DUIs, to serious felony matters, in all Colorado State and municipal courts, including clients with multiple pending cases.
I also represent domestic violence, drug possession, sex offenses, violent crimes, mental health/competency issues, armed self-defense, security guard, and CCW related gun cases. I always advocate strongly to protect my clients' Second Amendment rights.
I've been "around the block," and travel to most courts all over the state (27 counties, so far).
I'm also "old-school," in that I believe in professionalism, courtesy and respect to my clients, judges and prosecutors. I also believe in "real" conversations by phone or in-person, rather than email or text legal discussions. I believe clients should always meet with the attorney, and have time to review a written fee agreement, before making a hiring decision.
Additionally, I believe that ratings for lawyers can be very misleading. Clients that don't get their way with the judge or jury, despite an excellent attorney's best preparation and advocacy on their behalf, will complain, give a 1-star review, and then blame the lawyer. Those clients who are completely satisfied with the results of their case, and how they were treated by the attorney don't post 5-star reviews nearly as often as the complainers will post their misplaced, vengeful, 1-star reviews.
Rather than just go by ratings, I suggest you give me a call and make your own decisions about my integrity, experience, thoroughness, and whether you think I care about you as a client. I strive to offer fair and reasonable rates on a case-by-case basis. Phone calls are returned promptly, and I will actually listen to what you are saying, and be helpful with some answers to your questions. Call to schedule a consultation at no cost to you. Thank you! -- Michael D. Wulfsohn

Honest, keen, and empathetic
Michael presented an accurate analysis of my case, communicated honestly the possible outcomes, and advocated for and achieved the best result. I’m grateful for his counsel and highly recommend him.
Thank you for the thoughtful words, Ange! It was my pleasure to assist you in your legal matter. I'm glad that we were able to achieve a satisfactory result that was better than initially expected. You were a great client to work with, and thanks again!

Definately the most ethical and one of the smartest I've found.
Michael provided the best legal representation and guidance related to a few different cases. There were three other attorneys involved prior to him. He's been ethical and fair regarding his pricing. It's great to know there's good attorneys like Michael out there.
Thank you, Virginia, for the very kind words. I do my best on every case I handle. Having clients like you, gives me a feeling of gratitude when I've been able to help them obtain the best possible results. Thanks again, Virginia!

Highly professional
I can not begin to praise mr. Wulfsohn enough for his professionalisms, his ability to guide me through the legal process, and importantly get my case handled in the best outcome for me. His knowledge of the courts, his previous work with processors and judges, was invaluable in my case.
Thanks, Dennis! I appreciate so very much your complimentary thoughts. It was a pleasure to work with you on your matter, and I know it was a difficult time for you. I'm also very happy that we got the result that was obtained, and that it ultimately worked out to your permanent benefit. You are a great client, and thanks again!

Talented and Eminent
Michael Wulfsohn was a beacon of hope to me at a time when my options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed nigh on impossible. Not only was he able to defend me , his calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional succor to myself. I am eternally grateful for his se...
Thank you very much, Summer, for your thoughtful comments. I'm so glad I was able to help put you at ease regarding your situation, and that we were able to get great results! However, give yourself a lot of credit for making your situation much better than it would otherwise have been. You did a lot of things on your own, that you didn't have to do, that made my job much easier. I am grateful to have you as my client. Thanks again.

Great Job!
Michael was referred to me by some very well known, competent, seasoned lawyers, who are now retired. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I respect him as a person and a lawyer. His professionalism was evident in the court room, where he shows, and was shown, kindness and respect by his peers....
Thank you Kim, for your very kind words. I'm very happy that you were pleased with my services and results. I, too, am grateful for you being my client.
