Stephanie Patricia Stout

I hired Ms. Stout for a personal injury case. She made multiple promises but did not fulfill one promise. She finally responded to my emails and phone calls a few days before my case had to be filed. Then when it got down to filing the case she had me do that but it was a waist of my time. The way... she explained why I had to file was because the fees to file a case had gotten so expensive. I then started receiving documents from the court that I did not understand. She would respond on how to do the documents from the court but I am not an attorney and did not understand most of what she told me to do. I have a traumatic brain injury - I do not read very well and my thought process has problems. Her stock answer was another attorney can jump in at anytime once the case is filed. I only received minimal advise on what to do once I filed my case with the court. Ms. Stout had no intention of being my attorney. I still do not understand why she took my case if she was going to do nothing. I said some nasty things to Ms. Stout about her and then she dropped me. In my opinion she just wanted an excuse to get rid of my case. I contacted her muliple times and probably heard back from her less than 10% of the time. She was always busy with anoter client. Possibly my case was to difficult for her or not enough money. She is a do nothing attorney. Think twice before you hire her.
