Jerry Dean Manzer Jr.

The only advice I can give is do any and everything in your power to get your soon to be Ex to hire Jerry. My divorce took almost two years not all Jerry's fault. My Ex had five different attorney's witch slowed things down but Jerry did agree to extensions each time even when I said No. Jerry was... very hard to communicate with and often left me in the dark. I learned more and got more help from the free information desk at the court house. He never follows though with things you ask him to look into. Even thought I have my three children all but every other weekend. I cant thank Jerry for that its what the CFI recommend. (Yes I'm the Dad) He was never ready for court we would normally cram the day before or an hour before walking over to the court house. When in court he will not fight for you always being the nice guy. At times I wasn't sure if he was working for me or my Ex. He failed to mention many things about my ex and her income witch had a huge impact on the financials. He had no issues pointing out my faults but never mentioned any of hers. He told me to keep paying all the bills and medical expenses and he would get my portion back never happened. We never had a temporary hearing on support or maintenance. We got ready twice both times she lost her attorney less then 24hrs before court. So guess what I went 23 months with no support from her. You guessed it. The judge cleaned her slate at final orders and she gets to claim all three kids on 2018 taxes.(one has no over nights with her) You wonder why I didn't switch attorney's? Try going that long raising three kids by your self and coming up with another retainer. All I can say is hope your ex hires him. One good thing I will say is he work with you on payments and won't drop you if you fall behind.

Mr Manzer cost my 20 month toddler and I a great deal of pain and drama. I hired Manzer to pursue every legal avenue possible but instead he did nothing but agree with the other side. Sometimes I would wait 3 weeks to hear back from him.. He would sit there in court literally twirling his thumbs as t...he other side trashed me to no end with not 1 drop of evidence. He then quit all together 6 weeks before my trial, he also then waited to 1 day before my position statement was due to confer with my new attorney. My ex broke my sons leg we had CPS on our side testifying against the mother and Manzer even botched that 1 up as well.. He claims to have done over "800 custody cases" but couldn't give me 1 example of a practical parenting schedule. Manzer is a liar and will lead you down a dark hole you wont be able to come out of.. I lost my son all together now for not 1 reason but lawyer incompetence!!! His paralegal Vickie is a total ass as well she even threw me out of the office one day because I wasnt happy with their legal services and losing major custody of my son. They had me paying child support directly to them and they werent even making the payments so I got in trouble with child support and looked bad in court again. Beware of Jerry Manzer and the weld county court system in general!

Mr. Manzer was referred by a friend. I was at the lowest point in my life, I was dealing with a start of a divorce, and wanted custody of my 6 year old. Jerry took the time to meet with me knowing that I was broke and had no money to initiate anything. He took my cases and won them all. Jerry is ...passionate about what he does, he is caring and listens to his clients. I had no money and yet Jerry and his staff made me feel like I was the only case they where working on. He offered the hand holding and supported I needed at the time. Words cannot explain the gratitude that I hold for Mr Manzer and his staff. They went above and beyond what I expected never treating me any less than they would a paying client. Mr Manzer's professionalism, knowledge of the system, and willingness to help awarded me custody of my son, granted me child support Iwas willing to not fight for and divorced was finalize and the judges awarded me everything requested. Jerry Manzer worked on my "cases" for over two years he did it this passion, profession, knowledge and I highly recommend him and his staff. He saved our lives.

Over the course of 5 years I had a few different criminal cases that Mr. Manzer represented me on, and not once did I feel like he was not fighting for the outcome I hoped to receive. Jerry was very timely on getting back to me with any updates/returning calls. I felt a sense of confidence that he co...nsistently tried his hardest on the different matters we were addressing. Surrounding my different cases and the potential outcome, I always felt as if Jerry were very knowledgeable. Which made my mind at ease during the situation I was in. The law-firm in general always treated me with respect and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is in a situation looking for legal help, or even advice.
