So helpful and knowledgeable

I had a child support case that I needed help with, but did not have enough money to retain an attorney to do all the footwork for me. I used his unbundled services, which allowed me to get timely, expert advice (and prevented several major errors!) without paying for more time than I needed. I a...m so appreciative of his assistance and wise advice throughout this process. It was invaluable, and saved both my sanity and my child's financial resources!

Uninterested

I originally called his office about the relinquishment of parental responsibilities and I was warned that this would not be easy to pursue, even when both parents were in agreement. Without listening to any details, or offer any other alternatives, the office dismissed this subject from the consulta...tion. When I asked Zach about it, he was not prepared for the topic and additional time would be needed to go over the subject. Zach received me at his office at 1 pm one afternoon. He could not stop yawning and he kept glancing at the clock on the wall for the entire hour. One of his first questions was if I was going to retain him or just do a consultation. Based on his attitude, I was more inclined to do a consultation only; however, I felt that I had to leave this question unanswered to maintain some level of engagement. He spent most on the hour explaining how to fill out a form, which was self explanatory. He did not seem interested in providing guidance or listening about the complexity of the case. Ten minutes before the hour was up, he quickly asked me how I was going to pay for the time.

Diana, I'm sorry your consultation didn't go as planned. I very much pay attention to all of my consults, irrespective of my professional opinion of the case. I find it interesting that you waited a full year to come here and post a negative review and didn't feel the need to contact me directly to voice your concerns. I recall your case and advised you properly about termination of parental rights. My understanding of the law is that the Court cannot just terminate at the request of a party without an adoption pending. This is due to public policy concerns over support for the child in the future should something every happen to the custodial parent. At that point the child(ren) would become a ward of the State, as opposed to still having a biological parent/relative to possibly care for and support the child(ren). This was discussed in detail at your consultation. Since there was little that could be done to achieve your termination goals, we worked on the areas that could most closely meet your desires, which was to modify the current parenting time orders, decision making allocation and child support. I wouldn't have helped you fill out forms unless you agreed that it would be a good idea for us to spend your consultation time doing so. If we wrapped up early it was because there was nothing further to discuss on your case and you had no additional questions, which, if i recall, was the case based on the facts you presented when you came to consult with me. Again, i'm sorry you felt like I uninterested in your consult, but please do not mistake my honest legal advise on your case as being disinterested just because it conflicts with what you wanted to hear when you walked in the door. If you wish to discuss further, I welcome you to email me directly at [email protected], where we can discuss how you proceeded with your case, the outcome of your case, and the concerns you expressed above. I do my best to fully guide and advise every consult I meet with, irrespective of their intention to retain.

Intelligence and Compassion Lead to Excellence

Zachary is a very intelligent attorney who listens well and communicates quickly. I felt he truly understood what I was going through with my divorce and took everything that I said and emailed to him seriously. He had my best interests in mind. I could tell that he had put great preparation in...to my court appearance. He made sure to talk with me and discuss what was going to happen very thoroughly before we went to court for my divorce. I had no surprises. Even though Zachary is a very smart attorney, he still has a heart and can listen to all the details of what you are going through and be there to understand and help. I certainly have no regrets for having Zachary Daigle represent me through my divorce. I definitely think he would do a fantastic job for anyone and I wholeheartedly recommend him and his firm!

Divorce

Zach showed up, to meet me at court late. He seemed to have a hard time following through or communicating, so I didn't know what was going on. He didn't seem to ever remember the details of my case. I think my case was extended by about 2 months, because he wasn't pro-active and I had to attend extr...a unnecessary status conference hearings, due to him not acting more quickly. I ended up switching lawyers. I had no problems after that.

Great group of people!

Zachary Daigle handled my case for me. His help and persistance was unmatched. I was fighting to get my son back into my life. His mother was trying to get full custody. Not only did Zachary get my son back to me but I gained more parenting time than I had to start with. He really knows the laws and ...how to fight for you. I definitely recommend Tolison and Williams to everyone who needs, or wants, a great law firm to fight for them.
