This person is definitely biased. She is a Magistrate with Adams County Court and she has dismissed a Motion ordered by another judge. She didn't even have time to read our 2 volume court file before making a decision. She definitely needs to find a different profession. Making working for the Mafia ...would be a better fit for her.

Lord-Blegan is biased toward males. Unfortunately,she was hired to be the CFI for my custody case. She was recommended by my ex's attorney. And, no wonder because she must have known that Lord-Blegan would side with my ex-husband (her client). Lord-Blegan states that she listens to the children ...when she is making a report for the court to review custody. But, she did not take anything my children said into consideration. Even though they were 11 and 13...old enough to know how someone treats them. She had her mind made up before she ever met with my children. She was also distant and rude to me during our meetings. After reading the report she sent to the court it was clear that she did not take into consideration anything my children said nor did she listen to any of the people that were "witnesses" for my children. She recommended for my ex to get MORE time with my children when she clearly saw neglect and emotional abuse when she did the home visit at his house. She just chose to ignore it. She appears biased toward the father. I would look for a different lawyer to help decide for your case if you are the mother. I know people will think that I am just complaining and a scorned ex wife...but that is not my intent here. I want to warn other mothers because the safety and well-being of your children is the most important thing you will ever deal with. I am very happy being divorced but heartbroken at what Ms. Lord-Blegan recommended for the court because my kids are suffering. Ms. Lord-Blegan will not give a fair assessment. My children have had to continue going to my exes and be emotionally neglected and abused by him and his new wife. It is the most painful thing we have all had to endure.
