Biography
Darby Hoggatt is the founder and managing attorney of Hoggatt Law Office, P.C., and he has devoted his career to standing up for people whose lives have been disrupted by serious injuries. With more than three decades of experience, he represents clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters throughout northern Colorado, bringing a determined and hands-on approach to every case. Since opening the firm in Fort Collins in 2002, Darby has expanded its reach across the region while keeping its focus where it belongs: on the people behind each claim. He is known for giving clients the personal attention they deserve, guiding them through difficult moments with clear communication, practical advice, and relentless advocacy.
Darby grew up in Wyoming and South Dakota before earning both his undergraduate degree in finance and his law degree from the University of Wyoming. After passing the Colorado and Wyoming bar exams in 1995 and the South Dakota bar exam in 1996, he built a legal career focused on helping injured people recover physically, financially, and emotionally after devastating events. He leads a team of skilled attorneys and paralegals who work together to pursue meaningful results for clients injured in motor vehicle accidents, workplace incidents, and other serious cases.
