RUN - Her carelessness will forever leave scars on the lives of our children.

Dianne Peterson does not care about the best interests of children, she only cares about her financial interest. She was appointed as the CFI for my family's case and made no effort to truly understand the case. She didn't spend more than 10 minutes with our children, only did one interview (with inf...ormation was in no way reflected in her report), and made no effort to contact expert witnesses or doctors who were standing by willing to testify to medical neglect, among other things. Her report was extremely unprofessional, filled with subjective claims that didn't even seem related to the case. The language of the report was written in a manner that would be more accurately representative of a person that had not been afforded the benefit of a college education. The children were hurt because of her careless and damaging report that in no way represented what the children needed in a co-parenting dynamic to thrive. Her carelessness will forever leave a scar on the lives of my children. If you have a choice of someone to hire for a CFI - choose ANYONE but Dianne. If her name is suggested - I would RUN and find anyone else. Her "lengthy" experience in the justice system has only increased her obsession with herself and her desire to be a judge. She doesn't care about the people or the children she is hired to help - she only cares about her pocketbook and accolades. 0 stars would be a more accurate depiction of Dianne Peterson's capabilities as a Child and Family Investigator.

She will use her knowledge in ways NOT helpful for children

She was hired as a CFI to advocate for my children. Instead, she advocated for the father that is essentially detached and has no interest in supporting them and where they are at. If you are going to ask for her to be a CFI, make sure you are able to pay her her optimal rate. If you cause her t...o be paid at the state rate because you can not afford a CFI, you will not prevail with this attorney. The recommendations she made will only cause even more frustration and sadness for my children. She advocates for the dad with money to pay her more and no ability to put the children's interests above his own mission to be as vexatious to mother as possible. She can somehow write a report that talks about what a great mother you are, and then make recommendations that prevent you from continuing to be such a good mother. How incredible is that? The recommendations are all that the court looks at and she knows this. It appears in her report that she thinks that mother should support father in his quest to hurt his kids and give the kids answers as a "team". This mother will not stand by and say she supports hurting her children. No way. They only get to be children once. We had a GOOD CFI in the past. He was not an attorney. He had a genuine heart for the children he was to investigate for. It is too bad not all CFIs share the same goal. Her CFI report has created more strife and sadness for my children. She should be proud.

Awful child protection lawyer.

Dianne peterson yelled at my foster child and called my foster child abusive names in a F.U.M meeting where my child is supost to feel safe at all times. Even though it was court ordered Dianne failed (didn't even atempt ) to retrieve my childs expensive property from her prior living situation. Dia...nne Peterson also thretened my foster child with placement in prior abusive living conditions or group homes, if my foster child did not sign a release of information between Dianne and my foster childs therapist.
