I would highly recommend Susan Blanco to anyone in need of a DUI or DWAI attorney. Susan is extremely knowledgeable in the field of criminal defense and knows how to deal with the complex issues which can arise in the resolution process. She is flexible with payment arrangements and completes paperwork completely and accurately. She is meticulous and detailed oriented leaving little room for disputes. Approximately four years ago, I made the mistake of drinking and driving. I chose to represent myself, and as a consequence, I lost my job which inevitably led to the loss of my house and financial stability. To make matters worse, I recently discovered that my community service hours were not logged correctly and my probation was revoked with a warrant out for my arrest. I relatively recently moved to another State and I own my own business. In the process of moving (i.e. getting a new driver’s license, taxes, etc.) is when I discover this devastating news. Quite simply, the paperwork was not tracked appropriately, and I had not communicated appropriately with the justice system, thus, I was looking at jail time. Since I originally tried to represent myself and ended up with grave consequences, I decided not to make the same mistake twice. I researched reviews online and came across the Blanco Law Office. I hired Susan Blanco. Today, Susan was able to negotiate a fair resolution with the District Attorney’s office which included no jail time. I still live in the State I moved to, my business was not adversely affected, and I don’t have to return to Colorado for any hearing since Susan represents me. I am well on my way to becoming financially stable once again. My only regret is that I didn’t hire Susan from the beginning. Communication: 5 Stars – It has always been difficult for me to rank an attorney’s communication. I know that if they are busy communicating with me, then they aren’t busy working on my case. However, when you hire Susan, you are also hiring Nick Blanco. He communicates effectively, monitors and informs you of the progress made on your case. Talking to Nick is almost like talking directly to Susan. However, he does so without being a gatekeeper. If you would rather talk directly to Susan at any time, he swiftly arranges it. Tenacity: 5 Stars – During the process of working with Susan, I got the feeling that she truly enjoys her role as a defense attorney in the justice system. Maybe it is simply because of her former experience working in the prosecutors’ office and now having a unique perspective of being able to see both sides of a case. Either way, I felt that she treated me with respect and made sure that I got a fair shake. Work Quality: 5 Stars – I believe that work quality for a defense attorney should have little to do with guilt and innocence and more to do with results and fairness. I was guilty, and Susan made sure that my consequences were fair and reasonable. Without her, I believe my consequences would have been much more extreme. Value: 5 Stars – Susan is flexible with price, payments, and considers your individual financial situation. From my experience, I couldn’t afford not to hire her, and I am so glad that I did. I would recommend giving her a call to at least discuss your needs. The Blanco Law Office spent about an hour on the phone with me discussing my case before I chose to hire them. That is value!

I highly recommend Ms Blanco as an attorney. She went the extra mile for our daughter during an extremely difficult time. Susan maintained constant contact with us over and above her professional responsibilities. In our case, she was very knowledgeable about the court system and how best to work w...ith the courts to maximize our outcome. She is very caring and took personal responsibility to insure briefs were filed on time, and right the first time. She argued our case brilliantly (yes, that's the right word) and gave our daughter the best possible outcome. In my opinon, if you don't engage Ms Blanco, you're making a big mistake.
