The practice of family law encompasses divorce, paternity, allocation of parental rights (formerly known as “custody” and “visitation”), maintenance and child support, property and debt allocation, and step-parent adoption. We represent clients in Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties. Clients are active participants in crafting workable solutions for their families or partners, and a negotiated settlement is always attempted. However, if a court appearance is necessary, we ensure that the client is well prepared to enter into this often imposing forum.

Our practice of elder law assists in preparing for end-of-life decisions and care either for oneself or for aging loved ones. The firm also does small estate planning. We keep abreast of the changing regulations regarding government benefits for elderly and disabled persons.
