Sarah J. Pheral

I specialize in Elder Law and Estate Planning & Administration, as well as Contract and Business Law. Elder Law and Estate Planning entail comprehensive planning and advice for a variety of situations and areas of concern, including: drafting and execution of wills, trusts, financial and medical powers of attorney, living wills, and more; medicaid planning and eligibility; guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, probate, and estate administration.

In addition, I have extensive experience in contract negotiation, drafting and review, including federal procurement contracts.  I help small business owners build and protect their businesses by advising about business formation, contracts & agreements, intellectual property matters, acquisitions, risk management and more. My background in governmental compliance and complex commercial transactions benefits clients by helping them to make informed decisions as their businesses grow.

About Sarah: Sarah earned a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana and a law degree from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. Shortly afterward, she competed for and received a Presidential Management Fellowship, through which she managed multi-million dollar acquisitions for the US Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base. Over the next several years, Sarah developed expertise advising various federal agencies on business matters, mastering governmental regulations, and coordinating complex, political acquisition projects and federal contracts.
