When a hospital wants to "commit" a person for a mental illness, I represent the respondent's civil rights, i.e. freedom to leave the hospital, freedom to not take medications, etc.

I assist young families, retiring couples, single parents, alternative and blended families, and same-sex couples and families create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other planning documents.

I typically represent tenants facing eviction or other dispute with a landlord. Causes of action include security deposit withholding, property damage, unlawful eviction, etc.
