Thorough, Aggressive, yet compassionate for victim

John and Steve represented my Dad in a lawsuit against an insurance company for an injury (not Dad's fault) which was settled in arbitration. They were both very detailed and professional, but also very compassionate towards my Dad's situation as they were discussing the details of the case with him.... This was when he was going through healing, just out of rehab. They tried and succeeded in making him comfortable throughout the entire process while making sure they recorded and documented everything needed to make the settlement very favorable for my Dad. I have to say, given my Dad's age and factors that go into a settlement, they well exceeded my expectations of the settlement. They also worked with Medicare to take care of all the hospital bills Medicare paid as a result of the injuries he sustained (as is customary). As a matter of fact, Medicare waived all requests for reimbursement. More money in Dad's pocket. Exceptional work.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
