Now we all know that lawyers get a bad rep as is, but nothing compared to family law lawyers. There could be a whole thesaurus dedicated to the many not so nice words used to describe them. With that, finding an actual attorney or firm who actually shows genuine care about their clients instead of ...dollar signs is a rarity so, when I say I hit the lottery with New Leaf, I'm not lying!! Now I hit the lottery with New Leaf, but I hit the mega Powerball when Caroline H. took my case!! Not only was she down to earth and listened to me , but also, she was honest and sincere. She didn't make promises or make any outlandish guarantees. She set realistic outcomes and worked with me on what it is that I truly wanted out of this. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to obtain Caroline until the middle of this insanity due to some financial issues. None the less, she saw that I was being backed into a corner and was more than willing to stand next to me and fight this battle. And man, did she fight. She worked endless hours on this case, not only getting all everything together, but also was a huge support for me when I felt like it was spiraling out of control. I mean, hell, she even got a rose motion to be granted! If that doesn't show how absolutely incredible, intelligent, and meticulous she is about making sure every detail is accounted for and correct, I don't know what else will! Today was the final ruling, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. I got my baby!!! That is all that has truly mattered to me. From the first meeting, she knew that was all I cared about. She made sure we fought hard for him. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to New Leaf for willing to work with me on everything. But, to Caroline, from the bottom of my heart, my family (especially my mother), and my monkey man- THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! You were our lighthouse in this black sea of monsters.
