Douglas was great!! He was direct and to the point and very helpful. He even gave me his home phone number so I could contact him at any time needed with questions or concerns. My wife and I made an appointment with them back in January 2016. I gave it quite a bit of time to reflect and these are my thoughts: Upon making the appointment they sent us a Questionnaire for us to complete and send back. The receptionist kept telling us that the questionnaire was not compl...ete. After sending it over several times and hearing from them that it was not all there I decided to call to see what was going on. They had failed to look beyond the first page to see that what we were sending was in fact complete. They just didn't bother to look beyond the first page of the fax to find out that it was all there. Without even looking they kept assuming that it was incomplete every time we sent it as they kept asking us to send it again and again. Not exactly confidence boosting when a legal office that deals with paperwork can't even look at a fax. When we met with Triggs, he callously looked at us and said something to the effect of "Pay it" and then told us his rates for work he could do that you could do for yourself for free. He charged us $100 for this consultation which lasted around 20 minutes. Did not learn anything we didn't already know and provided literally no service or legal counsel whatsoever regarding student debt that would benefit us in any way. Everything he offers to do you can do for yourself and save the cost of paying his attorney fees. He was happy to take our $100 for the 20 minute consultation in which he was of zero help so I am happy to leave an honest review of how he runs his operation. Save your money and time, do your own research. Do not use this office.

Doug was exactly what I needed to understand how to consolidate multiple student loans years after having finished school and starting a business. I worked with Doug remotely (via phone and skype) and he was very responsive and extremely organized. He helped me to be organized by giving me instruct...ions for finding and filling out documents, labeling forms that I needed to complete and sending them to me along with a step by step splan. I appreciate that Doug also had a followup email outlining and emphasizing a plan for the future with instructions to print documents and save copies for my reference. When speaking with Doug he was very matter of fact and did not "sugar coat" results or his services, which helped to make the process very clear. If you want to work with someone who is knowledgeable, organized, responsive and focused, Doug is great. I also thought his fees were fair and affordable for me as the owner of a new small business with lots of student loans.
