Best person to have on your side!

In January 2016 I was faced with my second DUI charge. I was refered to Jennifer from a co worker, and was a little standoffish because she didn't treat me like the others I had talked to; you know the "serious case number type lawyer." She gave it to me straight(about the law and penalties) and didn...'t use "scare tactics" to get me to pick her. I told her my biggest concerns were taking care of my handicapped mother, and keeping my job. She worked so hard on my case, asking all the questions, even if they were a little off topic in my kind. She kept in contact via phone, email and text to keep me up to date with every thing on the case, and even would sit down for coffee and let me know where she was and what our plan should be. After the first appearance, the d.a. wanted to "throw the book at me", with it being my second case. Jennifer refused to let it happened and did everything in her power to, not only calm my nerves but, make sure I wouldn't get the worst. She helped me build a great case to the judge and got me all the minimums. My mother and myself are incredibly greatful for having someone like Jennifer on my side. She even gave me info after the case on how to apply for reinstatement and keeps in contact to make sure Im doing alright with life. She's a great lawyer. In my eyes, I could not have done this without her. If you are reading this, thank you Jennifer! I also plan to keep my promise to you after sentencing and never be in this trouble again. Anyone needing a lawyer I will forever pass her name along!

Could not ask Better

Jennifer is not only one of the most professional attorneys I have ever met, but she is extremely well versed in criminal defense law. She has been practicing for 14 years and she knows the specific channels needed in criminal defense cases. Throughout the entire case, she made sure that any questi...ons I had were answered, she couched me on how to present myself before the judge and made sure all the final work I needed to do was complete after my case was closed. Hopefully I never have to go through the system again, but I would recommend anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney to consult Jennifer first.

Outstanding Attorney!!!

Jennifer Watkins is hands down the best attorney I could have ever ask for. She is extraordinary. After consulting with multiple attorneys after I received my DUI, I chose Jennifer based on her complete knowledge of the law, the fact that she was honest and set realistic expectations, and even more... impressive was that she took the time to really understand my particular situation and discussed different angles. Jennifer is extremely well informed and creative, and she sees possibilities in defense that might not be obvious. The part that truly sets her above and in a league of her own is how much she truly cares about her clients. She has not chosen to practice DUI defense for the paycheck, she is determined to help and fights HARD to get the best outcome. Also impressive is how quickly she returns texts and phone calls - straight away. This is not an attorney who you will pay and wonder what the heck they are doing for you...she kept me informed every step of the way. Jennifer has been practicing in Boulder County for a long time and it shows. She seems to know everyone, and is well respected, which always helps! Getting the opportunity to know Jennifer was the only bright spot to this whole mess I got myself into.

Caring, Compassionate and Committed - while getting the job done!

I had the privilege of working with Jennifer in situations involving both my daughter and my nephew. In both instances they had made wrong and stupid decisions, but not decisions that at this age their lives should be ruined for making. Jennifer understands young adults and was able to work wit...h my kids, talk to them and use her skills in two ways; 1) to create a learning and life changing opportunity for them, and 2) to act as strong legal advocate and council in a way that minimized unnecessary long-term and damaging penalties. It is rare to find someone who is skilled, knowledgeable and very competent in their profession, while at the same time caring, compassionate and committed to the person they are representing. My experience with Jennifer was with two young adults. However, I believe Jennifer would use these same skills, her knowledge and success as an attorney and her strength in professionally representing her clients at whatever age they needed her help. While I hope I don't have to use Jennifer's services in the future, I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation or reservation.

The best of the best

Ms Watkins helped my son avoid prison time twice. She's not only a very very good attorney but has a kind caring approach to dealing with clients. Her compassionate interest in her clients is not an effort it's who she is
