Amazing

I got charged with a DUI and some small traffic infractions, but thanks to Jennifer and her efforts, she got it down to a DWAI with minimum fines, community service, and probation. Jennifer worked up until the last second to secure this deal and worked with me one on one to help ease my stress and pr...epare me for everything that needed to be said and done. I felt that she was on my side the entire time, and she really did everything she could to help lighten the burden of going to court. All in all, Jennifer was incredibly helpful and I had faith the entire time that she had my back and was in control of the case.

I was issued a 12 point ticket, facing the possibility of losing my license. I was totally freaking out. Jennifer did a great job handling my situation. She actually got my case dropped entirely. What a relief.

Phenomenal

I had an absolutely FANTASTIC experience with Jennifer. From the first time we spoke I was taken completely aback by her incredible level of compassion, understanding, and level of expertise. It was like I was speaking with a very old friend, yet one with immensely powerful legal abilities that truly... saved my butt in a very very scary and embarassing situation. She gave me an initial consultation that lasted for over an hour and a half - for free - where we spoke about everything from my charges, to life problems I had been having (for which she offered her own advice) ,to music! She took as much time as I needed, and then some, to truly help me understand what I was facing and what she could do for me. She made me feel that I truly had an ally in this seemingly hopeless situation. From my experience, Jennifer is not in this line of work solely for the money, like many DUI lawyers. She is not only is an incredibly kind and compassionate soul, but also one BADASS lawyer who fought tirelessly for me every step of the way - and was always there to respond thoroughly to any questions I had any time of day. The charges I was facing were very very scary after a horrible DUI incident, and she got my case reduced to literally the least amount of charges possible. I was facing a DUI, a careless driving charge, and the revocation of my license, and it got plead down to a DWAI, no careless driving charge, and the ability to keep my license. I can honestly not say enough good things about this woman and the work that she does. She has been fighting hard for clients in these kinds of situations in the Boulder area for 18+ years, and she is a true expert in her field. If you are looking for an all-star lawyer who is also incredibly empathetic and passionate about her clients well-being, and one who will help you feel human in this very de-humanizing position, please do not hesitate to call her. If, God forbid, I was ever in this situation again, or know anyone who was, I would absolutely not hesitate to hire or reccomend Jennifer again. She is truly one of a kind and I am so grateful and lucky to have chosen her during one of my lowest and most desparate moments.

Best Attorney Ever!

I was involved in a Hit and Run accident in Colorado, and full of anxiety about it after 50 years of safe driving. I knew I couldn't get through this alone, so after interviewing a few other local attorneys, I instantly knew that Atty. Watkins would be the absolute best. That proved to be amazingl...y true, both on a personal and caring level, as well as complete expertise with the legal system. It was very apparent that she had a respected level of credibility with the judge and DA in my case, and I could see that they gave her total respect and seriously considered her suggestions. As a result, my Hit and Run was cleared, and only the Careless Driving remained, so I was thrilled that she negotiated so well within the complex legal system, and it was a true miracle that the ticket was so reduced. Also, she kept in very close touch with me during the entire process and promptly answered any concerns that came up. This was a great source of comfort for me. I hope that I will never find myself in a situation again to need Atty. Watkins legal help, but if I did, she is the only person I would go to. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough.

The lawyer you want in your corner when you need one

Facing a DWAI and speeding charges, I contacted Ms Watkins who was realistic, explanatory and calming during the initial discussion as well as during the numerous, subsequent follow-up questions I had. Rather than choose a "bulldog", I choose someone who came across as calm, collaborative and local; ...this is a decision I will never regret. Ms Watkins worked diligently with the DA to explain my case rather than try and demand a favorable solution and when pestered by me, patiently offered guidance on the practicalities of the matter and what, if anything, I could do to improve my case. She was able to turn a seemingly "open and shut" case against me into a lesser charge that minimized several multi-month risks. While this was unexpected, I am confident it would not have been possible without Ms. Watkins specific approach, rapport with the decision-makers and focus on this area of expertise.
