Jennifer's Magic Powers

Darkness had fallen on my journey through life when I found I had two warrants for my arrest with a couple DUIs along with a probation violation and failure to appear in court. There was an irresistible temptation to avoid the situation as long as possible. Police knocked on my door as I locked mysel...f in. When the anxiety of constantly ducking the cops became overwhelming, I decided to post bail and get it over with. “They’ll understand. This probably happens all the time,” I thought. At the hearing I was feeling optimistic until sitting down with the DA. Across the table was my bad karma personified as a woman with hair like Medusa and a thick black mark on her forehead that i couldn’t stop staring at. Was she making a fashion statement or having a makeup crisis? Turns out it was just Ash Wednesday, but my stress induced hallucinations made it a bit terrifying. I realized there were some consequences to face and I had succumb to the idealism of my nature. In many words, she said I’d be going to jail for a year. My response did not surprise her. “Nope.” I was willing to accept whatever penalty, but a year in jail was not an option. I needed to find an attorney. After doing some research online, Ms. Watkins looked like a great option. Once we spoke on the phone, I knew she was the one! Jennifer told me exactly what to do so she could get the best possible outcome. I felt instant relief with my legal situation in her hands. My knowledge of the system is very minimal, but I was blown away by the way she skillfully managed my case. Also, she was able to recommend a better place for the DUI class that is not on the list the probation office gives out. At the hearing, with Jennifer in my corner, there was no worries. She worked out a deal with the DA before the hearing that was almost too good to believe. Not only did she reverse the impending doom of a jail cell, but she got a better sentence than I ever expected. The judge gave me nothing but some day reporting and i got to continue my probation like nothing ever happened. To my surprise, she went on and got the judge to lower my sentence even further with the possibility of early termination leaving all this craziness behind in a few months. Now, my only regret is not having Jennifer by my side from the beginning. Her expertise goes beyond just knowledge of the court system, as she has personal relationships with all the judges and the DAs in the area. It’s as if they can’t resist her charm and will go easy just because she is with you. Jennifer somehow, magically turned my life around and I wish there were better words to describe how amazing she is as a professional and a person.

Could not ask Better

Jennifer is not only one of the most professional attorneys I have ever met, but she is extremely well versed in criminal defense law. She has been practicing for 14 years and she knows the specific channels needed in criminal defense cases. Throughout the entire case, she made sure that any questi...ons I had were answered, she couched me on how to present myself before the judge and made sure all the final work I needed to do was complete after my case was closed. Hopefully I never have to go through the system again, but I would recommend anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney to consult Jennifer first.

Outstanding Attorney!!!

Jennifer Watkins is hands down the best attorney I could have ever ask for. She is extraordinary. After consulting with multiple attorneys after I received my DUI, I chose Jennifer based on her complete knowledge of the law, the fact that she was honest and set realistic expectations, and even more... impressive was that she took the time to really understand my particular situation and discussed different angles. Jennifer is extremely well informed and creative, and she sees possibilities in defense that might not be obvious. The part that truly sets her above and in a league of her own is how much she truly cares about her clients. She has not chosen to practice DUI defense for the paycheck, she is determined to help and fights HARD to get the best outcome. Also impressive is how quickly she returns texts and phone calls - straight away. This is not an attorney who you will pay and wonder what the heck they are doing for you...she kept me informed every step of the way. Jennifer has been practicing in Boulder County for a long time and it shows. She seems to know everyone, and is well respected, which always helps! Saved me from Prison not once but twice!!!!

Ms. Watkins accepted me as a client after I found her on a general list of attorneys and a friend had hired her and recommended her. I was facing 2 felony charges and 2 misdemeanors. Miraculously she was able to work out an arrangement and fought so damn hard that she got the felonies dropped as well... as one misdemeanor. I received a deal for probation for the one midemeanor. I subsequently messed up my probation and wound up back in court. Instead of jail time I was sure to recieve, Ms. Watkins was able to convince the court I would be of more service to society not in a cage or mandatory lockup. Both times I hired Jennifer, she was very caring and kind to me and genuinely cared for my well being. She is an excellent lawyer and an even better human being! I would highly recommend her to you for any criminal defense needs you have in Boulder as she has worked there forever and knows some judges and the prosecutors. What she did for me I can't ever repay, as I am now clean from drugs trying to have a better life instead of rotting in a cage! Thank you Jennifer Watkins!

Hands down best lawyer one can ask for!!

I recently got my first DUI. When they say go big or go home that is exactly what I did. My Bac was 313. I knew I was going to be in huge trouble. I did my research on attorneys because I really needed to figure out what steps I needed to take. I came across Jennifer's ad on the internet and gave her... a call. We only talked for an hour and I could tell that she was highly educated in the DUI world. I decided to have her represent me and this was the best choice I've made so far. I could not have asked for a better lawyer. Jennifer was extremely useful in helping me through my difficult time. She took her own time to educate me on the DUI process and what was ahead of me. Never making promises she could not keep. I didn't need or want promises what I needed the real deal and that is exactly what she gave. This really helped me with the overwhelming emotions that I was going through. Jennifer worked extremly hard and was very prepared and focused when I went to court. I could tell this wasn't her first rodeo because everyone in the Justice field seemed to know and like who she is. There are not enough words to described how much I appreciate Jennifer and the compassion she took on for my case. Jennifer truly made a difference not only in my life but in my family's life as well. She helped put back together the broken pieces of my life when I thought it was an impossible task. The ending of my story turned out much better then I could ever of asked for. As crazy as it sounds I did not receive jail time and my sentence was extremely doable. Which proves just how educated and informed Jennifer is in this field. That's what we all need right? I really recommend Jennifer to represent you in your case. You will not be sorry.
