A Lawyer whose got your back

Hiring Jennifer Watkins was one of the best decisions I made after I got my DUI. She has been working in the Boulder/surrounding areas for almost 20 years, and she knows all of the specific laws and about who works those districts. She is dedicated, hard-working, and dependable. She was always str...aight-forward with me, and her advice comes from years of experience. With her advice, I requested a DMV hearing and that the arresting officer be present. When the officer failed to show up, I wont that hearing automatically. That means I got to keep my license when I should have lost it. Then, when we got a DA who was trying to give me harsh penalties (30 days in jail), she postponed the court date, which eventually led to a new DA taking over my case. She pushed the new DA until he agreed to drop the charges of DUI to DWAI, and drop the charges of Reckless Driving to Weaving. This greatly reduced the amount of fine, alcohol classes, probation, and community service that I would be court mandated. Also, under her guidance, I was able to persuade the judge not to sentence me to jail. Lastly, getting the Reckless Driving bumped down to Weaving kept the amount of points on my license under 12, which means that I get to keep my license and the right to drive. She was able to save my license twice, keep me out of jail, and minimize the penalties that I was served. To anyone considering hiring her, I strongly recommend that you do, because not only will she fight for you, she is a genuinely good person who enjoys helping people who make a mistake.

Great Representation for DUI case

Jennifer has been very helpful and personable to work with when I was charged with my second DUI. She was able to get me the lowest sentence, kept me informed so I did not feel scared and also took extra time to clearly explain what was happening in court. Jennifer seems to really care about her cl...ients, she has gone above and beyond to help me find resources for getting back on track and listens to my concerns. I would highly recommend her!

A pleasurable person to know and an effective negotiator!!

Jennifer was extremely competent, diligent, knowledgeable and caring about my DUI case. She was a very effective negotiator helping to get multiple charges dropped and far reduced my sentencing. Like a caring Best Friend

I am a computer programmer from India.Recently I had a DUI charge against me with higher points as I did not have much awareness of US rules. I did little research on local lawyers to help me and finalized Jennifer.This is the first time I was in need to continuously deal with a person profe...ssionally to help with my need in my 6 years of US stay. So I initially had a hesitation and doubt how it is going to work out considering cultural difference and my personal frequencies. But Unbelievable. She showed lot of patience to listen and cleared all of my questions and as well as my silly questions.My initial discussions with her started giving me strong belief and relief that I will be saved. She looked at my case from all angles i.e I am being a non-immigrant she was quickly able to suggest me to consult immigration attorney which I did not aware initially. Based on her guidance, I was able to collect inputs regarding my immigration and discussed with her. Effective email/phone communication -- This is more important for me to feel everything is going in right direction with my case. I never felt that I had even a small gap in that aspect. Jail term for DUI-- Even if it is for single day it would have shaked my family. But in our first meeting itself she confirmed that I am not going to jail. DMV hearing -- Helped me with the DMV hearing. She exactly knew what need to talked now to get the favorable outcome with final court hearing. Court hearing -- When I stood with her in front of judge, I was able to feel that a good person standing next to me for support. Her representation was awesome. My DUI got reduced to DWAI. After judgement, When I felt that I am saved, I could not able to express my happiness even in front of her.I lost my words. I am a kind of person who should not have a single trouble to concentrate better in my work as I love my work so much. My first meeting with Jennifer & further communications with her gave me lot of relief to concentrate. She listened to me,cared for me. Her actions in the foreground and Background very much satisfied me and helped me ultimately. Good human gets good amount of support every where to perform their duties in a kind and best manner.
