Like a caring Best Friend

I am a computer programmer from India.Recently I had a DUI charge against me with higher points as I did not have much awareness of US rules. I did little research on local lawyers to help me and finalized Jennifer.This is the first time I was in need to continuously deal with a person profe...ssionally to help with my need in my 6 years of US stay. So I initially had a hesitation and doubt how it is going to work out considering cultural difference and my personal frequencies. But Unbelievable. She showed lot of patience to listen and cleared all of my questions and as well as my silly questions.My initial discussions with her started giving me strong belief and relief that I will be saved. She looked at my case from all angles i.e I am being a non-immigrant she was quickly able to suggest me to consult immigration attorney which I did not aware initially. Based on her guidance, I was able to collect inputs regarding my immigration and discussed with her. Effective email/phone communication -- This is more important for me to feel everything is going in right direction with my case. I never felt that I had even a small gap in that aspect. Jail term for DUI-- Even if it is for single day it would have shaked my family. But in our first meeting itself she confirmed that I am not going to jail. DMV hearing -- Helped me with the DMV hearing. She exactly knew what need to talked now to get the favorable outcome with final court hearing. Court hearing -- When I stood with her in front of judge, I was able to feel that a good person standing next to me for support. Her representation was awesome. My DUI got reduced to DWAI. After judgement, When I felt that I am saved, I could not able to express my happiness even in front of her.I lost my words. I am a kind of person who should not have a single trouble to concentrate better in my work as I love my work so much. My first meeting with Jennifer & further communications with her gave me lot of relief to concentrate. She listened to me,cared for me. Her actions in the foreground and Background very much satisfied me and helped me ultimately. Good human gets good amount of support every where to perform their duties in a kind and best manner. That is Jennifer.

Best person to have on your side!

In January 2016 I was faced with my second DUI charge. I was refered to Jennifer from a co worker, and was a little standoffish because she didn't treat me like the others I had talked to; you know the "serious case number type lawyer." She gave it to me straight(about the law and penalties) and didn...'t use "scare tactics" to get me to pick her. I told her my biggest concerns were taking care of my handicapped mother, and keeping my job. She worked so hard on my case, asking all the questions, even if they were a little off topic in my kind. She kept in contact via phone, email and text to keep me up to date with every thing on the case, and even would sit down for coffee and let me know where she was and what our plan should be. After the first appearance, the d.a. wanted to "throw the book at me", with it being my second case. Jennifer refused to let it happened and did everything in her power to, not only calm my nerves but, make sure I wouldn't get the worst. She helped me build a great case to the judge and got me all the minimums. My mother and myself are incredibly greatful for having someone like Jennifer on my side. She even gave me info after the case on how to apply for reinstatement and keeps in contact to make sure Im doing alright with life. She's a great lawyer. In my eyes, I could not have done this without her. If you are reading this, thank you Jennifer! I also plan to keep my promise to you after sentencing and never be in this trouble again. Anyone needing a lawyer I will forever pass her name along!

Could not ask Better

Jennifer is not only one of the most professional attorneys I have ever met, but she is extremely well versed in criminal defense law. She has been practicing for 14 years and she knows the specific channels needed in criminal defense cases. Throughout the entire case, she made sure that any questi...ons I had were answered, she couched me on how to present myself before the judge and made sure all the final work I needed to do was complete after my case was closed. Hopefully I never have to go through the system again, but I would recommend anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney to consult Jennifer first.

Outstanding Attorney!!!

Jennifer Watkins is hands down the best attorney I could have ever ask for. She is extraordinary. After consulting with multiple attorneys after I received my DUI, I chose Jennifer based on her complete knowledge of the law, the fact that she was honest and set realistic expectations, and even more... impressive was that she took the time to really understand my particular situation and discussed different angles. Jennifer is extremely well informed and creative, and she sees possibilities in defense that might not be obvious. The part that truly sets her above and in a league of her own is how much she truly cares about her clients. She has not chosen to practice DUI defense for the paycheck, she is determined to help and fights HARD to get the best outcome. Also impressive is how quickly she returns texts and phone calls - straight away. This is not an attorney who you will pay and wonder what the heck they are doing for you...she kept me informed every step of the way. She will win your case for you, she won mine

I am a 60yr old woman and I was charged with a DUI in Colorado. I was 2 days away from moving out of state to relocate. I was confused by the charges and didn’t know what to do. I had an administrative hearing date with DMV and a court date with the DA and judge. I was humiliated, petrified, ashamed ...and lost. My anxiety levels were through the roof. I realized I needed an attorney in Boulder. I called Jennifer Watkins. She was diligent with returning my phone calls and e-mails. She spoke to me at length and alleviated much of my fear providing me with insight and useful information regarding my case. She was easy to talk to and I knew immediately she would help me. I knew that someone who was smart, compassionate and driven had my back. I was not alone. She was supportive and provided me with the strength I needed to address this disastrous issue. I was charged with refusal by the DMV which carries a huge consequence. She fought hard and did a great job cross examining the police officer and she won, which resulted in the entire case being permanently dismissed and me being able to keep my driver’s license. Her extensive ability, unending perseverance and ultimate success saved me. The court and DA demanded I return to Colorado for my day in court. She persuaded them to allow me to stay in Ohio and she would represent me. I had my day in court. It resulted in a fine and community service. No jail time or suspension of license. She conveyed to the court my situation and I received the lowest priced fine. I was astonished at how little consequences I faced based on Jennifer’s hard work. The results were phenomenal. The absolute best I could have hoped for. It is behind me, I can drive, I have a license and there will be no more consequences. I highly recommend Jennifer Watkins.
